Dr Thomas Ferrier MRCGP

head in hands

Thom Ferrier has studied both medicine and art.
He is a part time General Practitioner in a small rural market town somewhere in the UK and has an interest in the Humanities and how the arts relate to medicine.

He has a vitreolic streak, railing against the frustrations of
government interference in medicine, managerialism, powermongering, greed, arrogance, mediocrity, small-mindedness and conservatism. His bile is mostly aimed at bureaocrats or individuals who display the aforementioned qualities as opposed to patients. Indeed, he finds people fascinating and likes his patients, although, inevitably, there are some who severely try his patience; but then thats life, whatever job you are in. He just wishes that policy makers and politicos would butt out and let him get on with his job.
